DAY 179 - 209: Luderitz PART 2: In and around Town

I have Atlantic water in my veins, the Southwest Wind in my hair and Namib Sand between my teeth. This is where I can breath! I don't expect non-Buchters to understand...

Lüderitz harbour with a cruise ship

View from my favourite restaurant. Love their pork chops.

My brother's accommodation. He did a great job renovating the old Russo-house.

It is always a niceday when we go camping at Heinz' bungalow!

Bushmanskerze - a desert plant

My little Bro

The Namib dunes are visible on the other side of the bay

Now this is nice braai

The visitor's book at Eberlanz Hoehle was full and the person who decided to replace it with a new book, cheekily dropped it of at Heinz' place of business..... just in case he went past there. Thing is no-one just "goes past there".... it is quite a climb over the rocks, first down to the water and then back up over the rocks to get to the cave. You have to "mean" to go there. Well, Heinz asked me along and we made the trip or shall I say the "climb". Was fun though. I cannot even remember when last I visited that cave, must be close to 50 years ago.

Heinz and I made the first new entries in the book.

It was freezing up there!

Even just getting to the trail down, you have to go off road!
